Join us for an all new event in an all new venue. Fort Henry will be hosting a Father's Day Beer Festival in the newly constructed Discovery Centre opening in spring of 2012. The newly developed Father's Day Beer Fest is the kick-off event for the new centre and the "ultimate man experience" with a grilling tent, eating competitions, sports car showcase, a plethora of beer vendors, and booths highlighting the latest gadgets, golf and fishing gear, and much more!

TOMMFest (Tristin Osborne Memorial Music Festival) is being held again this year on Father’s Day Weekend at Loughborough Lake Holiday Park. This year we are treating everyone to a Free weekend! There will be a limited number of reserved seating available for purchase in the near future. TOMMFest in conjunction with The Limestone Learning Foundation are proud to present a weekend of music to include The Abrams Brothers, Ambush, Shane Yellowbird, Craig Curtis and so much more! A new feature for this year’s event is the Music Showcase where young musical performers will be given the opportunity to perform on the TOMMFest stage in front of Music Industry people.
Camping available at a minimal cost.

Today racers paddle their boats to the beat of large drums, striving to snatch the flag at the end of the course. Canalfest, Merrickville's annual outdoor salute to the Rideau Canal takes place August Long Weekend in Blockhouse Park in Merrickville. Scheduled daytime festivities include ongoing live musical entertainment, a fine craft show, Voyageur Canoe Races, a floating model boat show, and the Merrickville Lions Barbecue. Children's activities include a fishing derby, free face painting, and Merrickville's own "Bug Lady."

The Macdonald Festival celebrates the life and contribution of Canada's first Prime Minister: Sir John A. Macdonald.
The Festival centrepiece is the professional production of "Sir John, Eh? The Musical." A young indie rock band brings back the spirit of Sir John A. Macdonald while filming a music video in a graveyard. Secrets are revealed. The truth is told. The Musical is staged within the Sanctuary of St. Andrew's Church in downtown Kingston.
Other Festival activities include family picnics with entertainment held on the church grounds, afternoon tea at Bellevue House, Mrs. Grimason's Kitchey Party at the Royal Tavern and In Sir John A.'s Footsteps walking tours.
