    King Street
Perhaps Kingston's most well-known stretch, King Street winds its way from the harbour along the waterfront all the way to the western edge of the city. King Street properties are the most sought-after in the city, and those lucky enough to snatch up a plot are usually not likely to vacate any time soon.

    Queen Street
It may be a matter of opinion what came first - Queen Street or Queen's University. What can't be denied, however, is they were both named as a nod to Canada's respected sovereign, and both form an important part of Kingston's landscape. Queen Street is lined with wacky specialty stores, aromatic corner cafes and dusty bookstores and is a favourite place for an afternoon stroll.
